The audit includesThe conformity assessment of the trust service Utimaco TSA (formerly exceet TSA) for the creation of qualified electronic time stamps according to the requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 910 / 2014 by SRC’s ISO 17065 accredited conformity assessment body, as well as the following amendment to the conformity assessment:

  • Amendment 1: Change of data center provider and relocation of the technical components necessary for the operation of the trust service to the new data center.
DescriptionUtimaco IS GmbH offers the trust service Utimaco TSA for the creation of qualified electronic time stamps in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 910 / 2014.

Qualified electronic time stamps can be used to legally prove that the data provided with the time stamp existed at a specific point in time and has not been modified since.

To issue qualified electronic time stamps, Utimaco IS GmbH operates Time-Stamping Authorities (TSA). RSA keys with a length of 2048 bits or ECDSA keys with a length of 256 bits are used to create the time stamps.

The public keys, which can be used to validate the validity of a generated time stamp, are certified by Certification Authorities (CA) operated by Utimaco.

Status and revocation information for the certificates can be obtained via OCSP responders from Utimaco IS GmbH.

SRC certifies that the trust service Utimaco TSA for the creation of qualified electronic time stamps is operated by Utimaco IS GmbH in conformity with the requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 910 / 2014.
