Conformity according to eIDAS

Conformity assessments for Trust Service Providers (TSP) and their services in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 (eIDAS), as amended by Regulation (EU) 2024/1183. Furthermore, relevant Implementing Acts are taken into account as far as they are available and have entered into force.

Conformity of ICT Products under the EUCC

Certification of ICT products according to the “European Common Criteria-based cybersecurity certification scheme” (EUCC), as established in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/882. The scheme is based on the Cybersecurity Act (Regulation (EU) 2019/881) and was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on February 7, 2024.

The path through the conformity assessment

Conformity assessments consist of two steps: a document review and one or more on-site audits to verify the implementation of the trust service at the provider’s location.

You will receive the result documents after the final audit and the final preparation of the documentation. These must be submitted by the trust service provider to the competent supervisory body.

Certifications of QSCDs are carried out on the basis of a successful Common Criteria evaluation according to specified Protection Profiles. Certifications are reported to the EU Commission via the Federal Network Agency (cf. Trust Services Act § 5).

The electronic registered delivery service protects the integrity of the data, ensures the identification of the sender and recipient, and incorporates qualified electronic time stamps to indicate the date and time of sending and receiving.
