Conformity of ICT Products under the EUCC

Certification of ICT Products under the certification scheme “European Common Criteria-based cybersecurity certification scheme” (EUCC), as established in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/882. The scheme is based on the Cybersecurity Act (Regulation (EU) 2019/881) and was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 7 February 2024.

The path through the conformity assessment

Conformity assessments consist of two steps: a review of documentation and one or more on-site audits at the site of the provider to verify the implementation of the trust service.

You will receive the result documents after the final audit and the final creation of the documents. These have to be submitted by the trust service provider to the responsible supervisory body.

Certifications of QSCDs are based on a successful Common Criteria evaluation according to specified protection profiles. Certifications are reported by the German Federal Network Agency (cf. Trust Service Ordinance § 5) to the EU Commission.

The service for the electronic registered delivery of mail protects the integrity of the data, ensures the identification of the sender and recipient and incorporates qualified electronic time stamps to indicate the date and time of sending and receiving.
